Jefferson
Inn - Southern Pines

Established in 1902, the
Jefferson Inn named after Jefferson Davis, reigns as the
last of traditional "Old South" hotels in
Southern Pines. Once the home to many grand
hotels, Southern Pines now boasts only the Jefferson Inn
to carry on that colorful history. Our newly
renovated accommodations range from modest singles to
spacious one-bedroom suites, many with jacuzzi
baths. Head for one of the area's 42 championship
golf courses, play a game of tennis, or saddle up for a
ride through some of the country's most beautiful riding
trails. All within a short distance from the
Jefferson Inn.

Old
Buggy Inn - Carthage
More than a
century of Southern charm welcomes you at The Old Buggy
Inn. This lovingly restored Queen Anne Victorian
home in Carthage, North Carolina, is in the heart of the
Sandhills region, only minutes from the famous Pinehurst
and Southern Pines golfing resorts. Built in the
days of horse-drawn buggies, ladies in hoop skirts and
gentleman in tail coats, today it offers guests true
Victorian elegance and traditional Southern
hospitality. W.T. Jones, President of the
Tyson-Jones Buggy Mfg. Company, built this 6,000 sq.ft.
home for his wife, Florence in 1897. Today it
stands at the entrance to the town's beautiful historic
district. You'll enjoy the Inn's fanciful
gingerbread trim, extravagant woodwork and old-fashioned
Southern wrap-around porch as a charming reminder of
days gone by.
